Leimental is fortunately rarely affected by catastrophes and emergencies. However, if one should occur, rapid coordination of the emergency services is essential. This is organised by the regional management staff (Regionaler Führungsstab) in close partnership with the Basel-Landschaft and Solothurn cantonal crisis Units.
